Located in Pingxiang, Guangxi, the Pingxiang Redwood Cultural and Expo City is a globally renowned large-scale redwood cultural tourism destination. We explore the local redwood culture and craftsmanship spirit, breathing new life into the space, and tailor-making a digital art gallery for the Cultural and Expo city.

Redwood itself cannot tell stories; it silently bears the accumulation of time like a sculpture. The purpose of this space rejuvenation project is to utilize technology to showcase the artistic aspects of traditional culture. The inclusion of interactive experiences brings the silent cultural relics to life, allowing the rich cultural heritage to be eloquently narrated.

The exhibition area of "Time Of Mortise And Tenon" revolves around the themes of "Lu Ban Culture" and "Craftsmanship." The artworks specifically utilize the joinery structure, which represents the essence of ancient Chinese woodworking techniques, as the expressive element to showcase the versatility of rosewood craftsmanship.

Visitors can trigger the movement of the panels through gestures on a touchscreen, presenting the process of joinery assembly that represents the essence of joinery craftsmanship. This allows the audience to not only learn about the traditions but also appreciate the ingenuity of the craftsmen and the intricacy of joinery culture.
